    Description

B & S Scherzer model rotary valve C trumpet.  No dents, dings, scratches.  The lacquer on the brass and nickel is 99.9% (and I can't find the other 0.1%)  It's just beautiful.
This is from my friend and fellow trumpet player's estate.  He was an active semi-pro player in the local symphony and various music groups.  He appreciated and could afford top-of-the-line instruments.  And this is one.   I'm helping the family find homes for them.
The German quality and craftsmanship of this rotary is unsurpassed.  This Scherzer is certainly among the best in the world.
The horn shows little or no evidence of being played. The valves are smooth, springs fine, the slides are free.  I don't think it's ever been apart or needed to be cleaned.  It's as close to perfect and new as can be.
It comes in the case as shown, with the cloth zippered cover.   A Bach 7 d mouthpiece was with it and will be included.
I'll gladly answer questions and/or send more pictures upon request.
I've got another one in Bb but I'm not listing it now so as not to compete directly with the other one that's on Ebay.  That wouldn't serve either of us well.
I realize the market for rotaries is not that big, only pros and very serious amateurs play rotaries.  But there are some players out there who play in settings where the rotary sound is appreciated, and some of you are ready for the deep satisfaction and pride of ownership  that comes from owning and playing a superb instrument.
I'm placing the starting bid at about the minimum I'd accept for this instrument. These instruments cost over ,000 new.  One in this condition is an absolute steal at half the price.
This horn deserves to be seen and bid on, so I won't consider offers at first.   If it doesn't sell now, I'll wait and list it later.  Not trying to be snarky; this is one of those things that if you know what it is, you know what's it's worth.  And if you buy it, you'll be glad you did.
