Bach Soloist Strativarius Trumpet.
This 2006 Soloist Strativarius has been an excellent trumpet for me for 15 years. This model has the following specs:
ML Bore
#6 Bell
Reverse #25 Leadpipe
Round tuning slide
Gold trim with added heavy valve caps
Model TRSOL100LR
The trumpet plays like a traditional Bach and is a true Strativarius unlike the regular “Soloist” line. The Soloist Strativarius is no longer manufactured and is a rare item to find. Most Bachs are no longer made with round tuning slides or reverse lead pipes. This is a professional line trumpet that can also be beneficial for an intermediate player wanting to have an improved sound and clarity. The tone this trumpet possesses is wonderful.
If you want my word on how well this did for me, this trumpet got me to All-State 1st band 3 years in a row in high school. I also used it in college but I had other trumpets as well at the time. The only real fixes I have had to do is resauter the tuning slide spit valve due to it falling off and replacing the 3rd valve slide bolts to keep the slide from falling. There are minor scratches on the tuning slide from a bad flip folder I used, but it is very faint. The rest of the trumpet is nearly as shiny as the day I bought it.
