I am a long time trumpet player and former band teacher. I play trumpet and cornet with a municipal brass band still.  I have played Piccolo trumpet since 1973, and have several, and although I play Eb cornet in one of the bands I participate in.  I saw this gorgeous horn for sale and had to give it a try, but it is time to clear out a few horns and help my grandkids with back to school finances.
This auction includes the trumpet, original case, and mouthpiece.  My little devil is not included!  ;^)
PLAYING THE BRAVO:
This horn has a really solid full tone. It is not as bright as a Strad 37 or 43 IMHO.  It is not a lightweight horn, also.  It can be an all around horn, but I think there is a bit of potential for jazz ballad style, since the tone is a bit on the dark and full sound.  It is easy to control, and has a really strong tone that holds well from pedal range to well above high C for me.

CONDITION:
This instrument appears never to have been taken out of the case.  One flaw I found, the third slide stop screw is slightly bent!  The shoulder strap on the case may be missing, don't know it it had one.  Otherwise, total eyebusting gorgeous silver.  I cannot find a flaw in the silver, or a ding, ping, or dent.
CASE:
The case is the original, SHIRES brand backpack case. I  personally LOVE the case, and would like to keep it, but I think the original set needs to stay together.
MOUTHPIECE:
The original spotless Shires Golplated 3C is included.
