    6" x 5" framed, this is original paper cut art in the traditional Scherenschnitte (scissor cut) German folk art method of black paper on a white background. Each piece is handmade and therefore unique.  Signed by the artist, Polly Winkler-Mitchell, this piece depicts the cautious meeting of a sheep and cat. Polly was featured in dozens of books, articles, exhibits, and even a PBS segment. She traveled extensively and taught as well. This small piece would make a nice addition to any nursery.
