vintage 1940's-50's era Military
Microphone
Originally commissioned for use in the U.S. Air Force in the mid 20th century, the head portion of this mic was originally used in chest-mounted rigs. We've removed the old carbon element from the Bakelite casing and installed a
moving coil dynamic element
producing an audio closely resembling it's original profile. (Will work on any modern amplifier with a microphone input.) The Bakelite mic head is mounted within a 4" ring and threaded on a
light-weight
adjustable-height desk stand
, hardwired to a short cable with 1/4" male phono plug. Overall height is 13-17"
