vintage 1950's SHURE 55S Dynamic Microphone.
This is the same iconic mic that has been called "the most recognized microphone in the world" and "The Elvis Mic".
The overall
condition is good with mild signs of aging and wear on the chromed face
...no bent or cracked ribs. The original threads are clear with a pivot joint that holds the tilt angle firmly and original Shure badge on the grip. The front wind screen material is newly replaced, back screen material is original and in good shape. All internals are tight,
and testing
provides strong audio with clean full fidelity
from it's original capsule and transformer.
