Vintage Calrad RCA Replica “Pill Style” Dynamic Microphone Made in Japan

This is a Japanese made copy/clone of the iconic RCA 77 series ribbon “pill style” microphones. This started as a 1960’s era Calrad 500C crystal mic. The original Calrad logo has been removed and a vintage metal RCA logo has been added to the front.
The original low fidelity crystal pickup has been replaced with a new 500 ohm impedance dynamic capsule with clear sound reproduction.
Suitable for use in the studio, live, for podcast or broadcast, this mic provides a cool old school vibe to your studio, performance or desktop. Also makes a perfect prop, display or “cave” addition.
The microphone has a 6 foot cable with a standard male XLR plug. The sale includes the microphone stand seen in the photos. The mic measures approximately 11 inches high from the bottom of the stand to the top of the mic.
Very good cosmetic condition with some wear and surface scratches to the finish as seen in the photos.
