Selling today rare VINTAGE Yamaha Bb TRUMPET YTR-738 Bb Yamaha LARGE BORE ! Serial range #01xxxxA I believe to be from the 1970s. It’s very well preserved horn and not played much possibly that is why tuning slide got stuck by siting . The upper leg appears to be free but lower one is stuck and will need pro attention if you wish to have moving slide. The lower pipe of the leg has few small dings in it. SEE PHOTOS . Horn can be played this way as slide is 1” out which would be a standard tuning position . All other slides are free. 2nd Slide appears to have small dent removed from the lower part not very visible. This horn plays very well with darker and fuller Smokey tone tone due to the LARGE BORE. ALL VALVES ARE MARKED L ! And move smooth and fast with pretty clean air holes with just old oil signs on the pistons plating which went into the plating from sitting. These have great compression.
Please notice small dent near the edge of the bell, I believe the dent causes small breakage in the bell wire . It does not affect the sound and it’s not that visible.
Silver is in overall great shape don’t see any wear to the brass. It could be a bit polished.
Horn was play tested before listing and sounds great 👍
Horn comes with original warranty card , polishing cloth , 4 keys to the original YAMAHA case yes four keys and Vincent Bach Corp. 5C vintage trumpet mouthpiece in very good shape so horn is ready to play once you get it . Case is in great shape and has both perfect handles and latches. Thank you
